Two ways to pay
| One-time bundle | Speech API | |
|---|---|---|
| You pay | $14 to $199 once per business location | $3 per million characters, pay as you go |
| Per play | Nothing | By character |
| Works offline | Yes | No |
| Text | Checked ready-made lines for one industry, plus an agent and workflows | Any new text |
| Subscription | None | None, no monthly minimum |
The honest part
For a handful of lines the API is cheaper than a bundle: a bundle is worth it for the lines, the workflows and the agent together, and for audio that plays with no connection. Prices of nine providers, with sources, are on .
