Why choose Speakvora

One payment, no per-call fees, an agent you keep. Here is what you get, how it compares, and when something else is the better choice.

The short version

Most AI phone and front-desk products bill you every month, or every minute, for as long as you use them. Speakvora is the opposite: pay once per location, run it on your own computer, and there is no licence fee per call, per text or per minute. Everything below is something you can check on this site.

Benefits

  • Pay once. $214 to $399 once per location (audio plus the local agent; audio alone is $14 to $199), first 12 months of updates and support included, then an optional flat $99 a year.
  • Costs do not grow with your calls. Speakvora charges no licence fee per call, text or minute. Your phone provider bills your calls and texts directly, and the optional Speakvora API is pay as you go: $3 per million characters to voice a new line, and once you save it to your library it replays at no further charge; speech to text is $0.0015 a minute.
  • You keep it. The agent and recordings keep working for ever; renewal is optional.
  • Your data stays on your computer. The agent is open source and runs where you run it.
  • Ready for your industry. Hundreds of bundles by industry and language with checked voice lines and workflows already built.
  • In control. Practice mode first, approval cards, quiet hours, sending limits, STOP handling and a kill switch that pauses everything.
  • Includes people who are often left out. Texts for callers who cannot hear, patience for callers who stutter or speak slowly, and a person on the line whenever someone asks.
  • Fits the tools you have. Twilio, an existing office phone system, Android texting, Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack, Teams, Jira and Google Calendar.

Questions

Why choose Speakvora over a monthly AI receptionist?

Because you pay once per business location ($214 to $399 once per location (audio plus the local agent; audio alone is $14 to $199), first 12 months of updates and support included, then an optional flat $99 a year) instead of every month, and Speakvora charges no licence fee per call, per text or per minute. You still pay your own phone and text provider. If you only need an answer for a handful of calls a month, a hosted monthly service can be simpler; if the calls keep coming, a one-time payment is cheaper after a few months.

What do I get for the price?

The industry's checked voice lines, the open-source agent that runs on your own computer, the dashboard, the ready-made workflows (booking confirmations, reminders, no-show follow-ups, order-ready texts, alerts), an editable keypad phone menu, texts for callers who cannot hear or speak easily, a customer order-tracking link, opted-in promotions, a kill switch that stops all sending, and Slack or Teams alerts.

Is it really a one-time payment?

Yes for the bundle. The installed agent and the downloaded recordings keep working for ever, with no remote shutdown, whether or not you renew. After the first 12 months, updates and priority support are an optional flat $99 a year per location.

When should I choose a different product?

If you want a hosted service with no software on your own computer, outbound calling at scale, real human receptionists, or enterprise compliance paperwork. Speakvora is for owners who want to set up their own agent once and keep it.

What are the honest limits?

The voices are AI-generated, not human recordings. Non-English bundles await native-speaker review. The agent handles the routine workflows you set up and is not a free-talking assistant unless you connect your own AI. There is no HIPAA claim, and calls cannot be placed outbound over the phone-system connection. There are no published customer case studies yet.
