The short, plain version of what you can do with a Speakvora offline voice pack. It restates the licence file that ships inside every download.

At a glance

QuestionAnswer
Can I use the audio commercially?Yes: inside your own apps, devices and services, including commercial ones.
Whose systems can use it?Your own systems, and systems operated by your company group (your parent company, subsidiaries and affiliates under common ownership). Not systems run by unrelated companies.
Can I ship it offline with my product?Yes. The files are yours to play with no network and no per-play fee.
Can I resell, redistribute or publish the audio files, or the pack as a standalone product or library? No.
Can I use the audio to train speech models? No.
What is the audio format?M4A (AAC). Each pack is a zip with manifest.json, phrases.csv, the audio in audio/, a licence file and a README.
Do I get updates?Yes. Buyers can download newer versions of a pack they bought.
Is the voice a real person? No. The voices are synthetic. Where the law or good practice requires it, tell listeners they are hearing an automated voice.

Audio format and converting it

The audio is M4A (AAC), which plays natively on iOS, Android, current browsers and most game and kiosk toolkits. Some phone systems want WAV or a particular sample rate. Convert with any audio tool, for example: ffmpeg -i 00001.m4a -ar 8000 -ac 1 00001.wav. The manifest.json in each pack names the format, and every sentence has a stable file.

What counts as your own systems

Play the recordings as part of an app, device (kiosk, appliance, phone menu) or service that you, or a company in your corporate group, build or operate, including products you sell. A corporate group means your parent company, subsidiaries and affiliates that share common ownership with you. The recordings must stay inside those systems. If you are an agency or developer building for a client, the client needs its own licence; ask us first. The licence does not allow handing the files to others as a library, selling them on a marketplace, or putting them in a downloadable sound pack.

The agent that comes with the pack

Every pack includes an agent program. The agent's code is open source under the MIT licence (on GitHub). That licence covers the code only. It does not change the audio licence above: the recordings are not MIT-licensed.

Other uses

If you need something this page does not allow (for example a white-label library, resale inside a product catalogue, or a different usage right), write to support@eyeguide.ai before you buy. We cannot promise custom terms. Our terms of service also apply; if anything here differs from them, the terms and the licence file in your download control.
