The agent that comes with every pack

Every pack includes an open-source agent (MIT license, on GitHub) that runs on your own server and your own phone, Slack, calendar and email accounts. It only says the approved sentences, always honours STOP, starts in practice mode so nothing goes out until you switch it on, and needs the internet (and your own providers) for texts, calls and Slack. How the agent works.

Honest limits

  • The voices are synthetic. Where the law or good practice requires it, tell listeners they are hearing an automated voice.
  • Non-English audio is marked native review pending until a native speaker approves it.
  • Packs are generic, ready-made lines in the library's voices. They are not your brand voice or a script written for you; for a new sentence call the API.
  • The licence lets you play the audio inside your own apps, devices and services, commercially and offline. You may not resell or redistribute the files or use them to train speech models.

Questions

Is there a Arabic text to speech API for apps?

Not for arbitrary new text yet. Arabic speech today comes from the recorded packs, which cover the sentences each industry repeats.

Does Arabic speech work offline?

Yes for the recorded sentences: a pack is a folder of audio files plus a manifest, so your app plays them with no network call and no per-play fee. Texts, calls and Slack from the included agent do need internet.

How much do the Arabic bundles cost?

10 Arabic listings, from $24 to $149 one time per voice. Every pack has a free 25-sentence sample.

Is the Arabic audio reviewed by a native speaker?

Not yet for non-English packs: each is marked native-speaker review pending, and we say so on every page and in every download.
