Idle and help

Why stored audio suits kiosks: files on disk cost nothing per play and need no network, so a store outage does not silence the kiosk. Fetch lines by API at build time and keep your own copy within the licence terms; downloadable industry packs are coming for every industry.

Numbers: the library already includes counts such as five items. For counts that are not in the library, generate the sentence live, or show the number on screen while the voice says the fixed part.

Accessibility: spoken prompts help many people but are not a compliance programme. Do not describe a kiosk as accessible or compliant on the strength of audio alone; test it with the users you want to serve.
