How offline voice bundles came to market

Short answer: Speakvora started from one observation: businesses repeat the same few hundred sentences, so record them once and sell them once. Today that is 140 packs in 5 languages from $24 to $199; here is the plan and what we do not claim.

The problem we started from

Most voice features say the same few hundred sentences all day: 'your order is ready', 'please hold', 'your appointment is confirmed'. Per-character text-to-speech APIs charge for those sentences every time; human voice-over charges per prompt. We asked what it would cost to record the common lines once, check them, and sell them once.

What exists today (2026-10-09)

  • A checked library of 100,903 audio clips (counted as clips, not distinct sentences).
  • 140 offline packs across 24 industries: English: 50 packs; Spanish: 32 packs; French: 18 packs; Portuguese: 29 packs; Mandarin Chinese: 11 packs.
  • One-time prices from $24 to $199; nothing is priced above $199.
  • A free 25-phrase sample for every pack, a manifest and CSV in every zip, and free updated versions for buyers.
  • Packs are sold through Stripe checkout and downloaded only after payment.

How we keep it growing

  • New lines are written and checked continuously; a pack is rebuilt when enough lines pass, and the packs page, the industry pages and the language pages rebuild themselves from the live list.
  • More languages: Japanese, Hindi and Italian are being rebuilt and will get packs once enough lines pass the checks.
  • More voices: a second voice for every language is planned.
  • Native-speaker review for the non-English audio is planned before the 'review pending' label comes off.

What we are not claiming

We are early. We have not benchmarked quality or latency against other providers, we have a small number of customers, and we make no prediction about where this goes. The aim is simple: make buying voice once the default for lines that repeat.

Honest limits

  • The voices are synthetic. Where the law or good practice requires it, tell listeners they are hearing an automated voice.
  • Non-English audio is marked native review pending until a native speaker approves it.
  • Packs are generic, ready-made lines in the library's voices. They are not your brand voice or a script written for you; for a new sentence call the API.
  • The licence lets you play the audio inside your own apps, devices and services, commercially and offline. You may not resell or redistribute the files or use them to train speech models.

Questions

Is Speakvora a big company?

No. It is early and small. The numbers on this page are read from the live service when the page is built.

What is next?

More languages and voices, native review for non-English audio, and keeping the packs and pages rebuilding themselves as lines pass checks.
