Call the API directly from any language
The Speakvora API is a standard HTTP service. You can call it directly from any programming language using your HTTP client of choice. No SDK required.
- Base URL: https://speakvora.com/api
- Authentication: x-api-key header or Authorization: Bearer token
- JSON request and response bodies
- Use curl, fetch, requests, or your language's HTTP library
Why no npm or PyPI?
Single-file helpers avoid dependency bloat and version conflicts. They work in any environment—Node.js, browsers, serverless functions, or Python scripts—without requiring a package manager or lock file. The HTTP API is stable and language-agnostic, so you can build your own wrapper if needed.

Frequently asked questions
Can I install Speakvora from npm or PyPI?
No. Speakvora provides single-file helpers at /sdk/speakvora.js and /sdk/speakvora.py instead. Download and copy them into your project. The HTTP API also works directly from any language.
What languages do the SDKs support?
Speakvora provides helpers for JavaScript and Python. For other languages, call the HTTP API directly using your language's built-in HTTP library.
Do I need the SDK to use Speakvora?
No. The SDK helpers are optional. You can call the HTTP API directly using curl, fetch, requests, or any HTTP client. Authentication is a simple header: x-api-key or Authorization: Bearer.
How do I authenticate API calls?
Use the x-api-key header with your API key, or send Authorization: Bearer <key>. Keep keys on a server; do not expose them in browser code. For browser-based agents, use a 10-minute session token instead.
