Text to speech API for every industry

Where speed matters, example lines and what a thousand of them cost.

Speed measured October 29, 2026 on our own servers. Example lines are illustrations, not approved bundle lines.

Two ways to use it

  • Speak new text through the API when the words change every time: names, times, totals, order numbers. Median first audio of 40 to 47 ms in our tests, $3 per million characters.
  • Play stored lines from an offline bundle when the words are fixed: greetings, menus, confirmations. They play from your own computer with no network wait and no per-play fee.

Questions

Does the speed matter for my industry?

It matters when new text is spoken to a person who is waiting: a changed order number, an arrival time, a total. For fixed lines such as a greeting or a menu, a stored recording plays with no generation at all, which is why Speakvora also sells offline bundles.

How fast is Speakvora text to speech?

In our tests on October 29, 2026, from a server in the same cloud region, the first audio bytes of a short sentence arrived in a median of 40 to 47 ms for catalog voices in seven languages. That is our own measurement of the first bytes, not a third-party benchmark.

What does a line cost?

Catalog voices are $3 per million characters. A 55-character line costs about $0.00016; a thousand such lines cost about $0.17. New accounts get 100,000 characters free.

Is it safe to use for healthcare, legal or financial lines?

Use it only for routine administrative lines such as appointment reminders. Speakvora is not HIPAA-ready, the voices are AI-generated, and nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice.

Where does the speed not apply?

Own cloned voices take 1.6 to 2.1 seconds to first audio, Japanese is not on the streaming lane, and the streaming server starts on demand, so the first request after a quiet period can be slow.
